Frederick County, MD releases 2008 tax sale list
Frederick County will hold a tax sale auction next month, following the release today of a list containing hundreds of properties whose owners have not paid taxes or other charges this year.
The county will ask people interested in bidding on the liens to provide a $1,000 deposit. If the person buys a lien, the amount will be put toward taxes owed. If the person does not buy a lien, the fee will be refunded in full.
